About us

The nature and the size of this beautiful country was very fascinating  right from the beginning, in 1993 when we first travelled to Canada. We realised right away that there is a nice Switzerland but an even nicer Canada. Being a passionate fly fisherman, Marco found a "paradise" here.  He was a professional soccer coach who visited Canada  together with his wife Madlen over 10 times, before we decided to immigrate to Canada in 2004.
We were lucky to find such a beautiful property on Sheridan Lake and we very much enjoy running the resort as a family business, together with our daughter Manuela. She was a teacher and our son-in-law Martin, worked as a car painter.  Our grandchild Vanessa, enjoys the resort live and our guests very much.

Marco is our handy-, and repairman, Martin is responsible for all the outside work and Madlen and Manuela are working in the office and behind the scenes, doing grocery shopping, cleaning, cooking...
